Tane has had years of service in creating plans for government agencies, departments, organizations or local ad-hoc groups.  Using his experience as an organizer, a manager and director allows him to connect with people throughout the organization and get people on the same page.

Last year he was the lead author of the Harris County Climate Justice plan alongside the Community Design resource Center.  Tane directed the process from initial community conversations to feedback sessions, internal governmental meetings and finally writing of the plan.  Thousands of people were brought in and connected through their cultural, personal and professional ideas to shape an astounding document.  Beyond climate protection and resilience efforts, the Climate Justice plan opened conversations around housing, employment and infrastructure, making it stand out amongst similar documents.
